Joint project with Airbnb. Ukrainians can get free housing in 45 European countries

The UFU platform brings together the forces of many international companies and organizations, including IRC, Google, Airbnb and others, to support people forced to leave Ukraine.

Since February 24, 2022, more than 6 million Ukrainians have already left their homes and were forced to seek asylum in many European countries. This statistic not only negatively affects the number of vacant apartments and the choice, but also the pricing of rent. Therefore, the problem of finding housing for temporarily displaced persons who left the country almost without things and means continues to be critical.

For more than six months, each of us has been doing everything possible every day so that Ukraine wins this war and every Ukrainian can return home and to his relatives. The UFU team, together with partners, has already provided a temporary home for 11,200 people forced to leave Ukraine due to danger. But we understand that we should not underestimate the situation, and there are still significant challenges ahead of us, which we can only cope with by joining forces.

The UFU platform brings together the forces of many international companies and organizations, including IRC, Google, Airbnb and others, to support people forced to leave Ukraine.

Currently, Ukrainian women with children who are looking for temporary housing for a period of 7 to 30 days can fill out a form on the United for Ukraine website. It should be noted that under the terms of the program, the deadline for placement is December 31, 2022.

We learned about the UFU platform from social networks. We urgently needed housing in Torrevieza, where I found a job, but in this city we did not know anyone, there was no opportunity to rent an apartment. The UFU platform immediately offered us three temporary housing options to choose from, and we chose a cozy apartment 2 minutes walk from my new job.
